Fun With The Team

It has been a very long time since the ET Ideas team actually went out. I’m not kidding; it has really been a very long time.

I first joined into the group around June 2012. Ever since then, I have changed remarkably. It may not be in appearance wise but on self development and on my way to find success. (Hmmm... I did change in appearance wise - I ditched my spectacles for contact lens and I'm sure I look better now) But it is very rare for the whole team to spend time doing and talking about anything other than our progress in our works.

Last Sunday gave all of us a totally different feel about each other. It feels more like asking the world, “Who says we can’t have fun?”

It was a really simple outing. Is it even called an outing? Not really. Half a day get-together, maybe. Since we have never planned an outing for ourselves before, I felt very (EXREMELY) excited! To express myself better, I felt like a kid. A kid who is going out with her friends for the first time and doesn't know what to expect out of it, but just feeling plainly excited.

The motive of the gathering: To celebrate one of the team member’s birthdays
Activity: Bowling followed by lunch

Bowling!!!

Birthday Girl...

I know what you’re thinking. The activities seems so childish for some grown-ups. But who could guess the fun which we all had. It was an amazing, fun-filled day with non-stop laughter.

Me hoping for my ball to strike... Unfortunately didn't... Never did...

As for bowling, it was meant to be a competition between the two groups to spice up the game. But sadly, one group was playing like pros with scores that were unbeatable while the other group (which I’m in) were most of the time dropping balls into the side lanes instead of hitting the pints on the platform. End of the day, it was all about having fun that we did not really take things too seriously about the game.

The Pro Team!

My team - 'good' players (so-called)
One thing for sure, that entire miss throws, cheers, teases and laughter’s drained a lot of energy from all of us that the only thing on our mind was FOOD!

With that, we headed to Chili’s – the choice of the birthday girl. We seemed to be the loudest table that just couldn't stop talking, commenting and laughing. We talked about the silliest things which we don’t really mention when we worked on our projects together. It was a day of relaxation and a laid-back moment where everybody got to be their true self.

Filling up our tummies...

We also tasted all the dessert on the menu... Yummy!!!
Well, all happy things end with sweet moments and so does ours with Chili’s mouth-watering desserts which sure tingled our taste-buds!

The GANG!

Lots of laughter with crazy jokes...
